UX/UI Designer and Illustrator (an asset) for the Octave application - 100% Remote - Part-Time (20h/week)
Job Description
As part of the "Youth and Economy Project" (PEJ) program, we are looking for a young UX/UI Designer and Illustrator for Octave. This 100% remote position will allow you to create intuitive interfaces and attractive illustrations that will help families better organize themselves.
Key Responsibilities

Design intuitive and aesthetic user interfaces for the Octave application

Create original illustrations to enhance the user experience and visual identity of the application

Develop wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes for new features
-
Develop a consistent design system integrating UI and illustrations
-
Collaborate remotely with development teams, product teams, and family organization experts
-
Conduct virtual user tests and iterate on designs based on feedback
-
Ensure a smooth user experience across different devices (mobile, tablet, web)
Required Skills
-
Experience in UX/UI design, ideally in productivity or organization applications
-
Skills in illustration and graphic design are an asset

Familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn Figma, Illustrator, and other relevant Adobe Suite tools
-
Interest in UX design principles and best practices for mobile and web applications
-
Empathy and ability to understand and translate user needs into simple interfaces and relevant illustrations

Curiosity and interest in the challenges of designing interfaces for different age groups (parents and children)

Knowledge of family organization and time management trends or openness and ability to take an interest in them.

Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate effectively remotely

Autonomy and ability to learn to manage time in remote work

Flutter Mobile Developer Android/IOS for the Octave application - 100% Remote - Full-Time (40h/week)
As part of the NRC IRAP Youth Employment Program, Les Belles Combines, a company that develops family organization tools aimed at helping families manage their daily lives, is looking for a "young" (under 30) Flutter mobile application developer.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain a Flutter mobile application compatible with iOS and Android.

Collaborate closely with the senior developer assigned to the project.

Optimize application performance to ensure a smooth user experience.

Ensure data and communication security within the application.

Work closely with design and backend development teams to ensure seamless integration.
-
Perform testing and debugging to identify and correct errors.
-
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile development.
Requirements:

Proven experience in iOS and Android and/or Flutter mobile application development.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary colleagues.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Knowledge of security practices in mobile application development.

Knowledge of Machine Learning is an asset.
