Four easy steps to tidy the playroom and find Christmas gift ideas
07 November, 2022
With Christmas coming and new toys about to make their way into the playroom, November is the best time of year to sort through the kids' toys and think about what could be added to their collection. To help your little ones choose the items they want to keep and to efficiently declutter their space, take the time to follow these few steps!
Step 1:
Download and print our how-to guide for decluttering the playroom, and take a moment with the kids to sort through the toys and decide what will be kept, what can be donated and what, sadly, has to be thrown out!
Step 2:
It's the long-awaited moment to write the letter to Santa! Our downloadable template will let your kids work out what they want most in the whole world, what they'd really like to have and what they'd actually need instead. This approach will not only prevent a lot of disappointment, it will also let you guide your kids in their suggestions by proposing toys that match your family values.
Step 3:
For the family and friends who want to give your kids presents, print and hand out our gift-ideas printable, which parents and kids alike will love. That way, you'll let them choose new toys that will not only please your brood but also stand the test of time and so encourage responsible consumption.
Step 4:
Once the playroom sorting is done and you've decided together what it would be worth adding to the kids' collection, take a moment to sort all the toys into categories in bins set aside for that purpose. To make tidying up easier afterwards, you can also pick up our playroom storage labels to clearly identify each bin!
