Grilled Halloumi Burgers

  • Ingredients

    • 2 blocks of halloumi cheese
    • 4 burger buns


    Toppings:

    • Mayonnaise
    • Lettuce
    • Apple slices
  • Preparation

    1. Clean and oil the barbecue grill.
    2. Preheat on medium high power.
    3. Cut each block of halloumi cheese in half lengthwise.
    4. Then cut the 4 slices in half.
    5. Cook the halloumi slices for 2 minutes on each side or until nicely charred.
    6. Toast the buns.
    7. Top each bun with mayonnaise, two slices of grilled halloumi, lettuce and apple slices.
