Practical tips for making the most of your monthly to-do list

To clear your mind and lighten your mental load, nothing beats an effective, well-organized to-do list! You're probably already familiar with the daily to-do list, but have you thought about also using a list of tasks to accomplish over the course of the month? Monthly household chores
Can't remember the last time the windows were cleaned, and your sofas are caked with the dust of the past three months? Never forget the household chores that need doing every month by writing them on your to-do list each month. Finances and management
Write down all the bills you generally need to pay during the month (childcare, electricity, cable, car, etc.). Of course, be sure to note the payment due date and who in your family will be responsible for it. This is also the section where you can make a list of the various “administrative” tasks you need to think about during the month: booking the kids' dentist appointments, buying winter clothes, registering for after-school activities, and so on.
Goals for the month
Setting goals means giving yourself the chance to reach your targets and make your small and big dreams come true. To give yourself every chance of success, though, make sure each of your goals is SMART: specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bound.
Appointments and activities
In this section, write all the appointments and activities on your schedule for the coming month so you always have them close at hand. Don't forget to also write them on your monthly family planner so that every family member can easily see the schedule for the weeks ahead.
