While the holiday season can often be busy and exhausting, it's important to manage your expectations and know how to maximize family fun in order to fully enjoy it !
Adults and children often have different definitions of fun and rest ; while adults tend to seek relaxation, children are more likely to seek active play! So, one of the keys to fully enjoying your vacation is to include fun times for children that will also bring pleasure to parents ; sharing time in the kitchen is a good example! It is also important to find a balance between planned activities and rest to ensure that children also have time for free play. Finally, even if it sometimes seems difficult or unappealing at first, joining children in their play world and showing interest in their activities strengthens the family connection and allows everyone to spend quality time together.
