Fruit jam/puree empty-fridge
Ingredients
- 2 kg of various fruits (fresh or frozen)/prefer small fruits, apples, mangoes
- 1 C. vanilla essence
- 1/2 t. ground chia seeds
- sugar to taste
Path to follow
- In a saucepan, bring the fruit and vanilla to a boil.
- Simmer uncovered for 60 minutes, or until the fruit is well stewed and the liquid has almost completely evaporated. Stir regularly.
- Remove from the heat, add the chia seeds and pass through the stand mixer (or food processor), add sugar if necessary and pot.
