Rib-Style Pork Tenderloin and Vegetable Fries

Love ribs but don't have time to make them at home? This pork tenderloin recipe with the same flavors is sure to satisfy; add sweet potato and turnip fries and you've got a meal that looks like it came straight from a restaurant!

  • Ingredients

    Vegetable fries:

    • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin sticks
    • 1 small turnip cut into thin sticks
    • 3 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • Salt and pepper from the mill

    Pork tenderloin:

    • 1 1/2 lb pork tenderloin
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • Salt and pepper from the mill
    • 2 cups rib sauce
  • Preparation

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
    2. In a bowl, toss vegetables with 3 tablespoons olive oil, onion powder, salt and pepper. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    3. In an ovenproof skillet (with lid) over medium-high heat, heat the oil and sauté the pork tenderloin on all sides for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with sauce.
    4. Cover and place in the oven for 30 minutes or until the center of the pork tenderloin is slightly pink. Serve with vegetable fries.
