The development of a sense of initiative occurs naturally between the ages of three and six , with children of this age often wanting to take charge of small projects, such as reorganizing their room, preparing breakfast in bed or putting on a gymnastics show, for example.
Although as parents it is important to support children in developing their projects , it is also essential to know how to set limits for them , especially when the project envisaged seems too large for their abilities.
