Performance anxiety is defined as the fear of failing or being judged in relation to the accomplishment of a task , whether it is simple or rather complex. Often induced by parents who gravitate around children, whether through their comments, their criticisms or simply through their behaviors which reflect their own anxiety, it is thus important to ensure that we act upstream in order not to cause performance anxiety or to exacerbate the already existing one .
