Smoked Meat Style Bread Crumbs
Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) 15% cooking cream
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) Dijon mustard
- 4 eggs
- Salt and ground pepper to taste
- 1500 ml (6 cups) coarsely shredded rye bread
- 500 ml (2 cups) grated Swiss cheese
- ½ lb (250g) coarsely chopped smoked meat
Path to follow
- Preheat the oven to 375F.
- In a large bowl, combine the cream, Dijon mustard and eggs. Salt and pepper. Add the bread, mix well to soak all the bread cubes.
- Add the cheese and meat and press into a rectangular non-stick pan.
- Bake for about 40 minutes or until center is cooked through.

Garnish with chopped dill pickles just before serving.
